While you familiarise yourself with our resident kookaburras, the kids will love the covered trampoline, giant swing and secret pathways through this nature filled 1,000sqm corner block.
While surrounded by nature, you are just moments away from the bustle of Avalon village and the stunning nearby beaches. It takes 5 minutes to stroll to the centre of town, seconds if you take one of our bikes.

The space
As you sit back on the couch, wind down and relax, look out of the huge windows to take in the canopy of gum trees and palms. Built in 1954, the cottage is set around an ornate, wood burning fireplace, which flows into a lovely, light-filled dining area. Use the Weber BBQ or cook on the flames in the homemade fire-pit.

Relax with an extensive library of the latest fiction and designer magazines. Enjoy the vinyl collection in a vintage Danish armchair or settle in on the double decker couch and enjoy Netflix, Disney+ or Apple TV. NBN wifi throughout the cottage.

The whole cottage has recently been decorated inside and out, with the kitchen and bathroom retaining their quirky 50’s style.

The enclosed back garden and built in doggy-door means your pup can stroll outside and soak up the sun as they please.

We have two mountain bikes that you are welcome to use to get around.

Other things to note
This is a 2 bed rustic cottage with original 1950’s kitchen and bathroom.

There is a dedicated kids space with lots of toys, books and a bunk with a secret fort at the bottom, TV viewing couch at the top. The living/dining space is set up as an adult space, with books, magazines, fire and views. The kids playroom / movie room has a bunk bed in it, which can be used as a 3rd kids bed. This bed is hidden out of view, but the room does not have a door to close it off as a formal bedroom.

There is a washing machine and dryer in an outdoor laundry room.
