Mutton Falls is a Dog Friendly Accommodation in Tarana Built in 1860 by Richard Mutton for the Webb family, Mutton Falls was originally used as a farmhouse and dairy and has a wonderfully colourful history. One of its original residents was Anne Webb (sister of Richard Mutton) who raised her 5 children there and managed a general store on the main route to Bathurst. Their rural store was unsuccessfully held up on more than one occasion including in 1867 when bushrangers Larry Cummins and John Foran got more than they bargained for from the resourceful Webb family.
