I went on holiday to Hardy Bay and every day we went to Putty Beach. The weather wasn’t super hot so we had the whole beach to ourselves a lot of the time (although I suspect it never gets very crowded). We did meet a few other dogs and their people, including 3 enormous hounds. There is lots of parking near the dog-friendly section and then just a short walk to the sand and shore. I highly recommend a trip to this area to check out the beach and nearby cafes at Hardy Bay, whether for a day trip or a few nights away at one of the dog friendly holiday rentals.
