Before we dive into the pawsome dog friendly places in Lane Cove, there’s no better way to start the discovery of new dog friendly walks and bars than getting a new toy or perhaps some treats for your furry friend from the local’s favourite pet shop.

1. Sunset Diner

2 Rosenthal Avenue

A Miami inspired casual dog friendly diner in Lane Cove. Offering Burgers, Griddle Dogs, Salads, Shakes, Beer and Wine all in pastel pink fit 😀. Furry family members are welcome at the large outdoor seating area (where else would you be seated anyway) and there are even Kangaroo Chews available for the pooches to have their own snack.

2. The Diddy

Longueville Sporting Club aka “The Diddy” is a perfect place to visit with your pup. Large outdoor seating areas, delicious food and live music on weekends to make your day out at the club a memorable one.

3. Little Red Robin

Little Red Robin is a great dog friendly Italian Restaurant in the laneways of Lane Cove. The Head Chef Alessandro is an Italian native born in the country of the Tuscan region. Dogs are always welcome to join at the outdoor seating area.

Old Quarter Cafe is a great dog friendly cafe in the heart of all the buzz in Lane Cove. Great menu for brekkie and lunch and super friendly staff is always ready to welcome you and your furry friend. Great dog friendly outdoor seating area that is fully under cover. Their breakfast Bruschetta is worthy of a try (no wonder it is one of their most popular dishes). And of course yummy kangaroo chew doggie treats available for the furry customers 🐶

7. Harry Howard & Yangoora Bushland Walk

Lane Cove North

Easy grade Dog Friendly Walk (4km) along the Stringybark Creek in Lane Cove. The trails is popular with runners and walkers and is open all year round.

8. Burns Bay Reserve to Tennyson Park Walk

Lane Cove

Great dog-friendly trail through the Burns Bay Reserve and Tennyson Park to explore with your pooch. The return route begins and ends at the end of Kooyong Road, near the Burns Bay Boat Ramp.

Lane Cove West

Easy grade dog friendly walk along the Lane Cove River. Start your walk from the Off Leash Park at the Blackman Park and make your way north along the trail following Lane Cove River.
