Dogs can run off the lead in the southern part of the park only.

The section between Tor Street and Holberton Street has been designated for off-leash dogs.

This park is part of the Black Gully multi-sectioned parks network.  A designated, fenced, dog off-leash area is a feature of this park.

Mount Lofty Park offers views over neighbouring suburbs, and features a picnic table, dog off-leash area and many mature trees. The park also includes telecommunications towers and a water supply reservoir.

Off-leash dogs are permitted in the designated area south of the cemetery.

The western side of the pond and the adjacent pathway are the only permitted off-leash areas in the park.

The park’s southern fenced area is available to off-leash dogs.
