Mr Hong Modern Asian Restaurant is a great go to choice for anyone looking for a dog friendly café.

They are open for breakfast, are reasonably priced compared to some other venues, the servings are generous, and there is an outdoor undercover area with lots of room for people and pups.

They happily provide dog bowls, the furniture is sturdy enough to tie a dog to, and there is a little garden area should your furbaby need a place for quick relief.

There is also an undercover 2 hour car park directly behind the café, bonus for anyone looking for parking while having breakfast, yum cha, lunch, dinner or just snacking on some dumplings.

Last time I visited my fur baby (she’s a terrier puppy) dug up a plant, which I replanted before we left. The staff were totally fine and did not make a fuss, and saw the humorous side, which was nice!
