Beautiful and spacious Clareville “Villa Halcyon” (meaning: calm, peaceful, tranquil, happy, carefree) provides you with endless opportunities to spend time with your loved ones including your furry friends. Enjoy the large, sunny terrace with Pittwater views with a true “Treehouse” feel. Read your favourite book with a glass of wine by the indoor wood burner or do your yoga practise in the tranquil spacious yoga studio (can easily fit up to 4 mats).

Living

The most amazing part of this Northern Beaches holiday house is the huge partly covered deck overlooking Pittwater. The large dining table, made from old Australian railway sleepers with 8 chairs, is the heart of the outdoor space with a comfy lounge area next to it, perfect for pre-dinner drinks. The property is fully fenced so your pup will be free to explore. The BBQ area comes with 2 separate barbecues to ensure you will have enough cooking space for your delicious dishes, one of them is brand new, innovative heat distribution Crossray BBQ, achieving heat of up to 300 degrees in 10 mins – perfect for wood fired pizzas. The Kitchen is fully equipped with all utensils you can imagine and the spacious and light indoors living & dining area is a great place to get together with your family & friends.

Sleeping

The house has 4 bedrooms, 3 upstairs and 1 downstairs. Upstairs has two sizeable Master Suites (1 King Bed + 1 Queen Bed) connected by a balcony and a cosy bedroom with a bunk bed, perfect for kids. The downstairs bedroom has a Queen Bed and is nicely isolated from the other bedrooms.
There are 2 bathrooms – one downstairs with a bath and shower and one upstairs with a shower.

The Area

The Northern Beaches and particularly the tip of the peninsula “beyond the bends” is a great holiday destination for couples, families or a group of friends. Clareville Beach on the Pittwater side is a short stroll away and even the surf beach on Avalon Beach is only a 20 minute walk (or 2 mins drive away). The area is full of hidden smaller harbour beaches, with one of them only a 10 minutes walk from the house. It’s name is “Paradise Beach”, which says it all. Vibrant Avalon village has cafes, bars, restaurants, beach & homeware boutiques and a reasonably sized Woolworths for your convenience. The iconic “The Newport” (ex Newport Arms) and the chic cafe’s and restaurants of Palm Beach are all a 10-15 minutes scenic drive away.
There are also a few options to explore some great walks directly from the house, for example the Angophora Reserve Rain Forest Walk and at low tide you can walk along the harbour front.
