24h dog park in Balmain. Dedicated off lead area is north west part between Tilba Avenue and Whitehorse Point, other areas are timeshare 5pm – 10am. Great views over the harbour. 24h off lead area is rather small at the end of the grass area, however the timeshare part is big enough for some proper running and fetching.

This park is so pretty and there are some nice dogs that visit, but the off-leash areas are not well defined and in the times we have visited, there have been people (mostly tourists) who have been decidedly anti-canine and have yelled at my humans “control the wild animal”. We aren’t locals but the locals didn’t seem surprised by this behaviour. I made friends with a cavoodle who said that once a tourist smacked him just for going up to say hello!
