Only 1 hour from Sydney, close to Kurrajong Village, at the end of a quiet country. lane, large garden,80 acres of wooded farmland, in the foothills of the Blue Mountains. Fully equiped cottage, 2 bedrooms with queen beds, large fireplace, breakfast provisions included.
The Blue Mtns have many scenic bushwalks & spectactulars views, the Hawkesbury river for canoeing, & the oldest Australian historic towns of Richmond & Windsor are mins away. Richmond is the end of the Metro system, the cottage is a 10 min drive from there.
Botanic garden at Mt Tomah & English gardens at Mt Wilson only 30 mins drive. Apple orchards are in the Kurrajong Hills & in season pick your own delicious fresh apples. At Edenezer you will find the oldest church in Australia & a historic winery.
But beyond all these attractions Hermitage Cottage provides a welcome escape from all stress & we guarantee that you will come away refreshed & invigorated .
Guests have exclusive use of the cottage, the grounds & 32ha(80 acres) of a private valley.
The area is safe but a car is necessary to explore that area as public transport is limited.
Water bowls for furry travellers are provided but bring your own dog bed so they feel more at home 🐶
