Couchs Beach extends east of the calcarenite bluffs for 9.5 km to a large sandy foreland. The Pines settlement occupies 1 km of the beachfront, while much of the shore either side of the foreland is part of Leven Beach Conservation Park. Dogs are welcome off leash on all beaches in Yorke Peninsula (except in National Parks).
