7 km long south to southeast facing Sheoak Beach is a fantastic long stretch of soft sand to play with your dog. Despite is orientation the narrow high tide beach is protected by and flats then extensive seagrass meadows extending kilometres out into the strait. At the western end of the beach low limestone bluffs extend for 2 km south to Tourbridge Point.

Dogs are welcome off leash on all beaches in Yorke Peninsula (except in National Parks).
