THE EXPERIENCE

To the south of Cape Naturaliste, in a picturesque valley behind Smith’s Beach, nestles Cape Naturaliste Vineyard. You’re very welcome to bring your pooches here and even a picnic to have with them on the terrace. Your pup may even get his photo up on the doggie photo board! Water bowls and treats are available for pups and the friendly winery dogs might also come and say hello.

DOGS OF CAPE NATURALISTE

We are committed animal lovers here at Cape Naturaliste Vineyard, they are our family, For over 15 years we have been proud patrons and active members of SAFE (saving animals from euthanasia) Busselton. Our dogs Monty (sadly now in dog heaven) and Max have both been featured in the Wine Dogs Australia books, and our newest addition, Poppy, a beautiful Jack Russell puppy, is very happy to meet and greet our visitors. Dogs are always welcome at our cellar door, and every dog that visits is given a treat, and photographed for the ever-growing Dogs of Cape Nat Vineyard wall of fame.

Hubby and I are used to going to dog friendly places but Cape Naturaliste vineyard is out of this world. We were told to bring the dogs in. Encourage d to take there leads off and they locked the vineyard door so the dogs didn’t get out. There was a few snooza brand beds with a few squeaky toys. There was fresh water in the cellar room for the dogs. The wine is very nice. They have a wall with 1300 odd photos of dogs that have come to visit. Do yourself a favour and try here with your four legged friend.
