Bright blue water, soft white sand and sailing boats on the horizon. Cooya Beach is one of the most picturesque Dog Friendly Beaches in Queensland. Dogs are welcome off leash at the northern end of Cooya Beach, north of the public toilet block.

Although this beach is officially approved for off leash activity, we would like to highlight the constant threat of crocodiles in Northern Territories and Far North Queensland beaches and creeks!
