Dog-friendly parks and walks

1. Fairview Park

2. St James Park

3 Burwood Road

This dog friendly park is home to a few local amateur sports clubs, but don’t be deterred; there’s plenty of room for everyone. Covered in greenery and local fauna, it can be a bit of a struggle with a few hills here and there, though—a good outing for you and your pooch.

3. Grace Park

Hilda Crescent

Take the little ones to this kid-friendly park as it houses a flying fox and a rope climbing net. Let the kids run wild while you and your dog sit and relax or play ball in this off-leash park.

4. H. A. Smith Reserve

Glenferrie Road

A perfect reserve to take the dog for a walk as it is off-leash. It also has a skate and BMX park if you or the kids are feeling adventurous.

5. Glenferrie Road

The famous shopping strip of Hawthorn sits right in the middle of the suburb as it is home to many cafes, markets, eateries, and pubs. You and your dog will be hard done by if you can’t find a venue of your liking.
