FROM Peasholme Street Beach…

…TO Peach Pit

Distance: 25 minutes walk

Visit one of Perth’s most dog friendly beaches, Peasholm Street Dog Beach, and let your pooch explore the golden sands and meet other friendly doggos. Located just south of Scarborough, the 24 hour off leash beach is a great spot for a swim and a play. There’s even a water fountain with dog bowl situated at the top of the beach access path to help keep your pup hydrated. Afterwards, stroll north to the nearby dog friendly bar, The Peach Pit. This casual bar is the pawfect spot for a laid-back beer, cheeky cocktail or bite to eat. They have a shaded seating area out the front where you can enjoy the views with your four legged friends.

FROM C Y O’Connor Beach…

TO Who’s Your Mumma

Distance: 45 minute walk

A little south of the centre of Fremantle you’ll find the dog-friendly off leash C Y O’Connor beach. The nearby Garden Island does a great job of sheltering the beach area so you won’t find massive waves here, making it great for dogs that love the beach but are nervous of the water. After exploring the sandy shores, head to dog friendly bar Who’s Your Mumma in Fremantle. The small but enchanting bar loves when guests bring their four legged friends along. The bar allows dogs in the shaded alfresco dining area and staff will happily bring out water for your thirsty pal.

FROM Mosman-Leighton Beach…

TO Clancys Fish Pub

Distance: 40 minutes walk

The 2km stretch of soft, white sand of Mosman-Leighton Beach is a favourite amongst dog owners in Perth. Your pup will have a tail wagging fun playing in the high dunes and catching the waves. The off leash area can be found west of the parking areas and fence (Portion of  Reserve No. 18016) within the boundaries of the Town of Mosman Park. To regain your energy after a big day on the sand, head on over to Clancy’s Fish Pub in Fremantle for fresh fish, craft beer and live music.

The relaxed coastal eatery has a great dog friendly al fresco area where pooches can join owners as they wine and dine. The menu has something for everyone including fresh cold presses juices & vegan treats as well as awesome food & coffee. They love dogs so much they even created their own Instagram page specially dedicated to furry visitors – @lotonedogs.

FROM North Cottesloe Beach…

TO The Shorehouse

Distance: 10 minutes walk

Take your dog for a jog or a dip in the ocean along North Cottlesloe Beach. The dog friendly beach is a great spot to visit if you’re exploring the western suburbs and would like to take your pup for a swim. It can get fairly crowded quickly so once you’ve exhausted some energy with your pooch, take a short walk to The Shorehouse nearby.  The beachfront location allows stunning coastal views while you wine down with your pup on the verandah.
