Big park, great spot near the city. Important to have good recall here though as lots of people use the park and there are birds in the pond. Also parts of it are near a busy road.
Only negative is that people seem incapable of using bins provided, so need to watch out for bones etc near the BBQ areas

Great park for doggie socialising, not fenced in so would need good recall with your dog. Your not meant to take you dog into the oval part but people do and it’s completely fenced off all around it.
Lots of lovely people and doggies to meet at this park!

This information is incorrect. It shows the oval as off leash but that is not the case. The only off leash area is between Ramsay Road and Ingham Ave adjacent to Henley Marine Drive along the canal (opposite Reg Coady reserve). The rangers are actively issuing fines for dogs off leash outside this area – especially the forested area and oval. Better to go to Five Dock Park that has a purpose built area.
