Unfortunately I have to leave a bad review.
Off leash area looks good from the road, I’m thinking fully fenced, gates to keep pups in.
But making my way into it, it’s wasnt fully fenced, there are no gates to keep the area confined.
A huge negative also is there is no BIN to put doggy poop bags in, so we had to take it with us.
It is such a beautiful spot, would have been amazing to let my boy off.

Great backyard to sniff & relax! Or if it is a little more quiet, maybe even have a little play with the resident wine dog ;-). While my human parents had a glass of wine at the outdoor area behind the restaurant, I was chilling next to them after a play at the nearby dog beach!

As a dog friendly cafe, this place is wonderful. Plenty of seating outside with dog bowls and shade. We are always super grateful when cafe owners make their place dog friendly and welcoming.
The food has always been really good here and the coffee is in the top 3 places. Unfortunately they have reworked their layout lately. And although It means there are more tables for guests, and the staff are fantastic at looking after everyone. Unfortunately, now you have to queue up to order and pay at the very back, squashed between tables and chairs full of people. The large display cabinet is gone with all the amazing pre-prepared meals and sweets. So when it got busy, it seemed the kitchen couldn’t keep up and there were long delays on the food and drinks coming out. So you may have to wait up to 50mins for food, at peak times when the cafe is full. Still worth going when it’s not busy.

Whereas the profile says Cupitts is dog friendly and then talk about the Cellar Door and restaurant, when you go on the Cupitt’s web site it says that dogs on leads can only go in the Garden. This means that the Deck, Cellar door, restaurant is off limits to dogs.

Took my 4.5 month old puppy here for some lunch with friends. Great little spot and good food. So many people out and about walking their dogs.

Great spot with a few options for K9 exploration, easy for dogs if all sizes

Great off the lead dog park with a small dam dogs can swim in. The dam can dry out when rain hasn’t fallen for a few weeks.

Such a great spot to let doggos off all sizes to go off leash

Walk not suitable for dogs
Only first 500m section allows dogs on a lead then dogs are not allowed. I almost got a fine and my dog almost ate some 1080 baits that were laid out in the section that doesn’t allow dogs.

I repeat do not take you dog on this walk
