  • My pawrents take me on trips to Nambucca at least twice a year on the way up and back from Brisbane. Although I do not love sitting in the car, stopping here gives me a chance to get out and run around! Once we arrive we head straight to the Nambucca V-wall. My pawrents first take me to a little restaurant which has a view of the ocean. I like it here as the owners always give me a snack and some fresh water. I watch all the seagulls fly by and plan on how I am going to catch them when I get to the waters edge! After a yummy lunch we walk down the V-Wall walk and then walk the board walk. The V-wall walk is filled with bright colorful paintings on rocks which I love jumping between. Sometimes I slip a little but my mumma always helps me get back on my feet. Mid way through this walk is a real life turtle! I bark and bark at it until my mummy pulls me away muttering it is just a large painting.. I know its real though. At the end of the walk I always sit pretty and pose for photos. Thew view from the end is always beautiful and if we arrive as the sun is setting some beautiful photos with me in them are taken! Sometimes when my pawrents are feeling extra fit, or I still have a lot of energy we walk past all the little boats and do the board walk. We can see lots of little fish under our feet when we walk on the board walk and I always try to watch them. My pawrents at the end of the walk always go to the public toilets and stock up on a few extra snacks for the car from the little corner shop. The only thing that could make this place better if it was off-leash, however I still have lots of fun walking on the lead with my mum and dad.

  • My pawrents often drive me up to Brisbane but stop in Nambucca along the way. We normally walk along the main boardwalk in Nambucca and then we hop in the car and head straight to the beach. This beach is the best thing ever as its off lead alllll offf theee timmeeeee!!! No matter what time we go I am allowed to run wild, and I do. I am still a little scared of the big waves as im only a little pup but before the beach is a little creek which I get a good swim in. Once I build my confidence up I run into the HUGE waves. These waves are so big they almost reach my mums knees! Maybe when I grow up they wont seem so big because all the other dogs go swimming in them with no problems. Along the beach there are lots of piles of seaweed. I make sure to jump into each one, roll around in them and then carry them to my pawrents so they dont miss out. For some reason they dont love when I bring them big chunks of seaweed and they always throw it away… I make sure to always bring it back though. I feel that I could run along this beach forever. The white sand goes as far as I can see and its super soft with no shells or rocks so my feet dont get sore when I run. After we finish on the beach we have a little snack at the picnic table near the carpark and then I get a dreaded shower. My humans shower and rinse off all the sand as well but Id much prefer to take the sand in the car with me.

After a big day I fall asleep for the rest of the drive to Brisbane. My pawrents love to stop in Nambucca Heads and take me to such a fun and beautiful beach. Hopefully Ill get to see all you pups there next time we visit!
