THE EXPERIENCE
They are at various locations along a walk that can be done by the Murray River. There is no official name for the walk, as it is a series of different paths that loosely link up. The most common section of the walk is done at the Mildura Riverfront.
Also at the riverfront is JC Park, a dog friendly park which has a couple of public bbq’s, a bunch of things for kids to play on and lots of lawn areas, with a decent amount of shade.
The old Mildura Homestead, or woodshed as it’s often called, links in to the Riverfront walk via a walking path. Keep going past the homestead and you find yourself taking a bush path, which leads to Apex Park. Apex faces onto the Murray River, in the one area of the river that is patrolled during summer. Apex itself is a powered camping site, and is dog friendly.
