  • I went on holiday to Hardy Bay and every day we went to Putty Beach. The weather wasn’t super hot so we had the whole beach to ourselves a lot of the time (although I suspect it never gets very crowded). We did meet a few other dogs and their people, including 3 enormous hounds. There is lots of parking near the dog-friendly section and then just a short walk to the sand and shore. I highly recommend a trip to this area to check out the beach and nearby cafes at Hardy Bay, whether for a day trip or a few nights away at one of the dog friendly holiday rentals. Woof, Jelly the dog.

  • Hi Pupsy! Jelly the dog here. Last week I went on holidays to Hardy’s Bay. Mum and Dad had breakfast at Hardy’s Bistro one of the days. The food and service were great and it is a lovely spot to sit outside by the bay. The next day we walked past and almost every table had a dog at it! It is a very dog-friendly area. We stayed in a lovely house rented through the local Ray White (called Torcello on the Bay), Putty Beach is 5 minutes away and is also dog friendly and there is another lovely dog friendly cafe right next door to Hardy’s Bistro, also with lots of doggy visitors when we went there (mum will send you an email about that one). At just under 2 hours drive from central Sydney it’s not a bad option for a day trip. Woof, Jelly.

  • Mum and Dad took me to the Larmont for my and mum’s birthday. It was a great spot right next to the Coca Cola sign and some great cafes in Kings Cross and Potts Point. At the hotel, I was allowed to walk through the foyer and caught the lift to our room which was big and I had my own bed and bowls as well as treats that the hotel people left for me! I also had a huge outdoor patio to explore. Mum and Dad said they were very comfortable in the room too. We all had lots of fun and felt very welcome.

  • What a lovely surprise on a cold winter’s morning. We sat down at an outside table and the waitress came out with menus and said “do you want to sit inside, it’s a bit cold?” and mum and dad said “thanks, but we have a dog” and she said “that’s okay, you can sit inside”. That’s when we noticed the two other dogs inside. We went inside which is always exciting for me. We sat at a table next to the wall which also happens to be all glass so I could watch the world outside while being cosy inside. Mum and dad said the food was great too and the staff were all so friendly and attentive.
