THE EXPERIENCE
Federal Park is a 24h off-lead dog park in Annandale. Dogs are also allowed on the sportsfields except during the games (which would probably be fun for the dogs, not so much for the players). Lot of facilities are around the park and also one of the best dog friendly pubs, The Annandale, is not too far.
Glebe Foreshore offers great walks either along the canal (where your dog can remain off the lead most of the time) OR on the actual Foreshore all the way up to the small dog beach Blackwattle Bay Park.

One of our regular haunts. Could be a bit bigger (Jubilee Park is on leash), but having access to the harbour is great. The water can get really dirty though, especially after rain.
Off leash walk can be extended by following Johnston’s Creek to Smith, Hogan and Spindlers reserve.
I like the dogs that come to this park but Mum says it’s only for good dogs who come when they’re called because the off-leash space is next to the car park and the barbecue area where people put all their yummy food on the ground… I just thought it was for me! One bad thing is that no one seems to pick up their dog’s poop.
