Newtown’s favourite dog friendly pub The Marlborough Hotel (or simply Marly as it is know to locals) is known for all things live music, sport and its twist on the classic pub meal. Doggies are welcome to join you for a refreshing drink and chilled out vibes at the partly covered beer garden and inside the bar area, just not on the low tables (there are plenty of high tables available)!
Think about Art Deco, chilled out afternoons, action packed sports bar and performances from the up & coming artists. This three storey iconic Newtown establishment possesses more flair than your average local watering hole.

Staff is very friendly and welcoming to dogs. Can sit inside or out – though I was told when I asked if there were any restrictions that you can’t sit at the low tables inside with dogs. There are plenty of tall tables.
Great beer garden to sniff around and dogs are welcome inside as well!
Dogs are welcome everywhere (even inside) at the Marly, which is fantastic! Our favourite spot is the garden at the back though!
