There are two dog off leash areas on Clifton Beach:

• The northern end of Upolu Esplanade north towards Palm Cove and finishing 150 metres south of Veivers Road
• The southern end of Clifton Beach between the southern end of Arlington Esplanade and to the north of Kewarra Street,

Although this beach is officially approved for off leash activity, we would like to highlight the constant threat of crocodiles in Northern Territories and Far North Queensland beaches and creeks!
