Kemp Bay is an open southwest facing bay located within the larger Waterloo Bay. It is bordered in the east by the Clan Ranald anchor and the west by 500 m of 40 m high cliffs. Between the two are two similar straight southwest facing beaches, both backed by 30 m high bluffs and a bluff top gravel road.

Dogs are welcome off leash on all beaches in Yorke Peninsula (except in National Parks).
