When visiting the top of Mt Wellington (note, dogs allowed to be with you but not allowed out of the car on Mt Wellington), then you may be hungry afterwards. Ferntree Tavern is a cute little dog friendly pub towards the bottom of the road down from Mt Wellington. It is dog friendly with outside tables and supplying water bowls.
