Dogs are allowed in the bar (not the bistro) at this legendary country side dog friendly pub. Absolutely welcome all dogs big and small and definitely have water bowls available. Even sneak some treats from the kitchen meat scraps bucket if allowed.

They have 4 resident dogs of their own and support dog re-home and rescue through their own label wines. Big red dog and big bozo Shiraz support wildwood animal rescue in loving memory of Clyde their re-homed dogue debordeaux who passed away on 17 March 2018 and Mastiff re-home and rescue is supported by big bozo Shiraz, in support of Bozo by rescued Boerboel.

Dogs need to be on a lead at all times to avoid any conflict. On any given day it is not unusual to see 6-8 dogs dining in the front verandah with their owners.
