Alma is a dog friendly cafe “beyond the bends” in the heart of Avalon.
Opened by Chef Tim Christensen and close friend Jack Leary, ALMA strives to combine a passion for fresh, quality produce with a relaxed dining experience.
With a focus towards fresh, locally-sourced seafood and organic wines from the local community, ALMA is inspired by the dishes of coastal Mexico, and the rich heritage of our local community.
Dogs are welcome to join on the covered front deck area.

Pawsome bar for us furrier members of the family as well! Although we are not locals, it really felt like we were as everyone was so friendly. Definitely recommend to visit when in Avalon!
As a fashionable pup myself! I love to be at fashionable places where I can stretch out and show off my style (bow ties) ???????? The staff are super friendly and I can never get enough of their fresh cold water (while mum enjoys those coffee drinks that make her the one doing zoomies) Would recommend to anyone, although would love if it was right on the beach since I’m such a beach babe ???? 10 wags of approval!!!!
