Start the walk from the famous New Farm Riverwalk and head towards Teneriffe along the shore. Powerhouse Park is located adjacent to the Brisbane River and the historic Brisbane Powerhouse. The dog off-leash area is shady and always busy. There is a large grassed area next to the dog park which is suitable for picnics, as well as a bike path running along the river. This park is popular with apartment dwellers with small dogs.
