  • Southern Cross is a family owned practice and we believe things can be done differently. We’ve got a unique approach to veterinary medicine.

    • Southern cross is a great vet! Everyone is so friendly, professional and I always know Willow is well cared for. She even gets super excited when we go there and sad to leave!

  • Southern Cross Vet was born out of a belief that things could be done differently in veterinary medicine. Pet owners should be given all the options – not simply given two: 1) the ‘right’ and 2) the ‘wron […]

My best friend Spike ( a gorgeous bordoodle ) and I stayed here recently with our Mums. ( I’m on the right in the photo!) Our Mums each had a bedroom and bathroom, and said the accomodation was excellent. The lodge has a lovely balcony overlooking beautiful rural views. We had a great dog run and kennel area, but preferred to hang in the garden outside. I barked at the big black cows as they sauntered by in the adjacent field! We both went to visit dog friendly wineries like Margan in Broke, and had a great visit to Bistro Molines for lunch- which is very happy to have dogs too! Its a great place for dogs to stay!

It was a pleasure to host you all to stay!
Very pleased “Skipper and Spike” enjoyed all the doggy facilities and the Mums were very comfortable and enjoyed the Lodge and beautiful rural views.
We look forward to seeing you all again in the future.

I had the best time at the Wattle Lodge. My favourite part was the lovely closed off dog playground area. It was great to wander around and take in all the new smells. I loved being on a farm! Winn, Roger and James were so welcoming. The facilities were fantastic and so clean! I cannot wait for the next time I get to stay at the Wattle Lodge!
