Port Arthur Historic Site is one of the best Dog Friendly tourist sites in Tasmania. When you arrive, either have someone hold the dog(s) outside or leave in the car briefly while you go inside to purchase tickets or check-in with your online ticket. Advise the staff member that you have a dog and they will let you in the side entrance. Your dog can go on the informational tour included with your ticket purchase. Please note that there are some areas that dogs are not allowed to enter such as the visitor centre, house museums and the harbour cruise vessel MV Marana.

Owners are asked to please clean up after your dogs using the bins provided whilst on site.
