There are many off leash dog parks to choose from in Brisbane but where are the best PARK & PUB combos not too far away from each other to thrill & chill?

We decided to find out and bring you the TOP 10 PARK & PUB combinations in Brisbane.

It’s time to go for adventure with your dog!

FROM Tuckeroo Park 

TO All Inn Brewing

Distance: 10 minutes drive

Tuckeroo Park is one of the best places around Brisbane to take your dog for an exercise. Your dog will have access to agility equipment, large green area as well as the beach to run that stored energy out.

After you pooch is done with all the running and playing it’s time to go for a relaxing pint of craft beer. All Inn Brewing Company is located no further than 10 minutes in the car (most likely on your way home anyway), which makes it a perfect after play location.


FROM Colmslie Reserve 

TO Revel Brewing

Distance: 10 minutes drive

Off leash area at Comslie Reserve has one of the best Agility courses in Brisbane for the active dogs! Your pup can also go for a swim in the Brisbane River from a small sand beach next to the reserve while you are taking in the river views.

Dog Friendly Pub Revel Brewing is located less than 10 mins drive away from the reserve in Bulimba. It has a great well shaded outdoor area welcoming you and your dog to rest your legs and paws after a fun morning or afternoon at the park,


FROM Powerhouse Park 

TO Mary Mae’s

Distance: 2 minutes walk

Powerhouse Park is one of the most popular off leash dog parks in Brisbane, and you can expect to see lots of apartment dwellers stretching their legs each morning and afternoon.

You can either drop by at the Jan Power’s Farmers Markets, adjacent to the park, or make your way to the dog friendly cafe & bar Mary Mae’s. Relax on the riverfront dog friendly terrace and simply watch the world go by.


FROM Sunset Park 

TO Remy’s

Distance: 10 minutes drive

Sunset Park off leash area must be the best dog park to witness the beautiful sunset. It has a large fenced off-leash space and even a BMX track for active kids to stay entertained in a meanwhile.

Remy’s with it’s neighbouring dog friendly eateries, Sassafraz and Atticus Finch are all great places to visit before you head to the Sunset Park. Remy’s is open until later in the evening and is therefore well suited for an after play drink as well.


FROM Downfall Creek 

TO Fitz & Potts

Distance: 10 minutes drive

Downfalls Creek is one of Brisbane’s largest off-leash areas (4 hectares), dotted with shady trees and the odd picnic shelter and having no fences to cramp a dog’s style. Creek offers a great way to cool down on a hot summer’s day.

Less than 10 minutes drive away in Nundah, you will find a super dog friendly bar Fitz + Potts. Head straight to the dog friendly roof top terrace and comfort help yourself (or your pup) to take a seat with the colourful blankets and simply chill!


FROM Victoria Park 

TO Welcome to Bowen Hills

Distance: 15 minutes walk

Victoria Park off leash dog area is suitable for pups of all shapes and sizes. It has an agility course and fenced areas separately for smaller dogs who aren’t quite ready to brave it in the rough and tumble world of puppy play dates.

The entire laneway of the popular Welcome to Bowen Hills is dog friendly and they strongly encourage everyone to bring their furrier family members as well.


FROM Waterfront Park 

TO The Defiant Duck

Distance: 5 minutes walk

Council is trialling an off leash area at the Waterfront Park. It may not be the largest off leash area but it is a great way to finish the waterfront walk with your pooch to the Newstead House and back.

Once your pup has sniffed all the corners and had a play with his friends make your way to The Defiant Duck for an after walk refreshments.


FROM Riverside Dog Park 

TO The Milk Factory

Distance: 15 minutes walk

Walk along the river in South Brisbane is a great opportunity to get some exercise, enjoy the scenery and meet like minded dog owners. Riverside Dog Park is an off leash area roughly 15 minutes walk south from The Milk Factory. There is another off leash area at Orleigh Park further south if you are keen to walk a little longer.

The Milk Factory is build on the old heritage listed Colonial Hotel and is often called Brisbane’s own smuggler’s inn! Whether this is true or not, it does make a new pitstop for you and your dog once walking along the south bank of the river.


FROM Neal Macrossan Park 

TO Brewski Bar

Distance: 5 minutes walk

Neal Macrossan off leash area has a couple of covered areas with picnic tables and a few sets of benches within the grounds, along with bins, poo bag dispensers and water taps with fixed dog bowls. Plenty of spots to sniff and explore and enough room to play fetch and rumble with new friends.

Dog Friendly pub Brewski Bar is located only a few pawsteps away from the Neal Macrossan Park making it a perfect place to relax with your pooch after the walk. Superb selection of crafts around Australia will satisfy even a hardcore craft connoisseur, that is if your dog happens to be one.


FROM Woollongabba Rotary Park 

TO Canvas Club

Distance: 5 minutes walk

Woolloongabba Rotary Park is a fenced 24h off leash park. The area is large enough for even more active pups to run around and burn that excess energy.

Only a short stroll from the park, dog friendly cocktail bar Canvas Club is a great place to sit and relax with your pooch. Dogs are welcome on the outdoor area at the front, which is fully covered from sun or rain.
