FROM Elwood Beach TO The Milton

Head just few minutes south from St Kilda and you will arrive to the beautiful Elwood Beach that welcomes dogs off leash at certain times. Take in the street culture through the graffitis, skateboarders and eateries or simply enjoy one of Melbourne’s most beautiful seaside spots. After a splash & play it’s time to head to Elwood’s best dog friendly pub, The Milton. Located less than 10 minutes away from the Elwood Dog Beach, it’s a great place to have that after play drink with your pup. The Milton even invites dogs indoors!

FROM West Beach & St Kilda Harbour TO West Beach Bathers Pavilion

It won’t get much better than this combo! Dog friendly bar, West Beach Bathers Pavilion is actually on the dog friendly West Beach. Two dog friendly beaches, West Beach & St Kilda Harbour, are both located only a few pawsteps away from Albert Park and main St Kilda Beach. Enjoy the play & swim on the beach and once it’s time to chill, head to the Bathers Pavilion for some sweet tunes and vibrant atmosphere. Guaranteed winner for both you and your pup!

FROM St Kilda Beach TO Republica

The one and only iconic St Kilda Beach is dog friendly between April and October, which makes it a great winter time playground for the pups loving the water. Enjoy the vibes and take in the fresh ocean breeze while your furry companion makes new friends to play with. After the play, head to the dog friendly beach bar, Republica St Kilda. Don’t miss their daily specials on the menu and live music on weekends!

FROM Port Melbourne Beach TO Tipsy Cow

Think clean golden sand, 24/7 off leash beach and views of the pier and St Kilda. That’s what to expect from the dog friendly Port Melbourne Beach. It’s a great spot for small or large pups to cool down and have a play. Dog friendly bar, The Tipsy Cow, is located about 20 mins walk from the beach. There are two great 24h dog parks on the way, Gas Works Park and Lagoon Reserve, which makes the walk enjoyable for both you and your pup. At The Tipsy Cow, the resident dog Nisha is waiting to welcome you both into their dog friendly courtyard!

FROM Altona Dog Beach TO Vince & ME

XL sized Altona Dog Beach is 24h off leash beach with shallow waters and wide sandy plains. Grass area next to it gives you and your pup some safe distance from the Altona Road in case the excitement takes temporarily over! Altona Dog Beach offers great panoramic views of the bay and the city skyline. Vince & ME is a few minutes car ride away but it’s surely worth the drive. It’s local owners Maryanne and Vince have made the place look and feel amazing and the best part is that it is dog friendly. Food is great and has something for everyone. Definitely worth trying after a play with your pup!
